Adeslas Dental: Digital Transformation in Dental Clinics with Tranxfer Exchange

Challenges and Issues

Adeslas Dental, with more than 180 clinics nationwide, faced a classic challenge in the dental sector: the logistical management of physical molds for treatments such as orthodontics and dental prosthetics. Each order required the physical shipment of a mold accompanied by a lab order, using courier bags between clinics and laboratories. This process entailed:

  • High courier and logistics costs.
  • Unnecessary wait times.
  • Risks associated with handling and loss of information.
  • Limited traceability and no legally valid digital record.

Proposed Solution

With the implementation of Tranxfer Exchange, Adeslas Dental has taken a decisive step toward the digitization of key processes.

Currently, thanks to the gradual incorporation of intraoral scanners in its clinics, physical molds are no longer required. The new process includes:

  • Complete digitization of orders: 3D images in .stl (compressed) format and orders in PDF.
  • Secure transmission of large files via Tranxfer Exchange, completely eliminating the need for physical transport.
  • Full traceability and automated recording of transfers.
  • Guaranteed legal compliance, including data protection regulations (LOPD).
  • An intuitive interface that allows for use by non-technical staff such as assistants, hygienists, technicians, and coordinators.

Results Achieved

  • Time savings: Elimination of the first logistics shipment.
  • Savings on courier and logistics costs: direct positive economic impact.
  • Security and compliance: Digital management with recorded logs for audits and legal proceedings.
  • Ease of use: Easily adopted by administrative and clinical staff.
  • Scalability: Progressive implementation at a rate of two clinics per week. Currently, 46 clinics have been digitized, with a goal of reaching 100 clinics by 2025.

Next steps

Adeslas Dental uses Tranxfer not only for communication between clinics and laboratories, but also to digitally handle requests from patients seeking their information and test results, ensuring the secure and legally compliant transmission of data without using physical media such as CDs.
