Tranxfer in Empresas de Vanguardia: Protecting data in motion

La Vanguardia interview with Tranxfer CEO on cybersecurity

Interview with Eli Bernal, CEO of Tranxfer, in Empresas de Vanguardia:
“Cybersecurity must stop protecting perimeters and start protecting data.”

We are excited to share that Empresas de Vanguardia has published an interview with our CEO, Eli Bernal, in which she discusses how regulation and emerging threats are transforming the way companies approach cybersecurity.

In the conversation, Eli explains why the traditional approach, focused on perimeter protection and access control, has fallen short: “Companies operate in a state of constant connection with clients, suppliers, and partners. Sharing information is no longer the exception; it is a daily operational necessity.” According to her, architectures like Zero Trust and SASE represent a huge step forward, yet they leave one question unanswered: what happens to data once it leaves the organization?

This is where the concept Tranxfer has championed for years comes into play: the governance of data in motion. It is not a replacement for the security platforms companies already use, but rather a complement that enables information to be shared securely and traceably, in compliance with regulations such as DORA and NIS2.

As Eli summarizes in the interview: “The future of cybersecurity isn’t about preventing data from moving; it’s about ensuring that data can move securely, in a controlled and traceable manner, to wherever the business needs it.”

She also discusses Tranxfer’s medium-term outlook, including how we are preparing our architecture for the quantum computing era.
